The American Classical Orchestra (ACO) is an orchestra of period instruments dedicated to fostering and preserving the great music literature of the Baroque, Classical, and early Romantic eras. The orchestra’s music education and outreach program, Classical Music for Kids, will present in-school performances of "The Magic Recorder" featuring Mexican recorder virtuoso, Horacio Franco, and ACO conductor, Thomas Crawford, on the harpsichord. Children will be exposed to Vivaldi’s "Four Seasons" and other Baroque pieces. Teacher’s guide available.

Requirements: 16’ x 12’ space, two stools or chairs, a table, music stand, microphones.

Audience: All ages

Fees: $750 and up.
