Rachna AgrawalProgram: Rachna provides performances, workshops, residencies, and lecture demonstrations in Kathak (classical Indian dance), classical Indian vocals, folk dances, choreography, visual arts, and literature and culture. Rachna emphasizes appreciation of the arts; cultivating respect for other cultures; enhancing self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-discipline; and using art as a form of communication and expression. Her goal is to bridge the gap between the East and the West and bring her knowledge of 2,000-year-old Indian dance form to the school system.
Requirements: Two microphones and a wood floor.
Audience: School age and Adults/Seniors
Fees: $350 and up. Multi-day residencies and workshop pricing available.
