Program:
Dennis is an ethnomusicologist, educator, performer, presenter, author, and instrument maker offering residencies, instrument projects, assembly programs, and teacher training. "From Trash to Tunes," a performance demonstration of scores of homemade musical instruments made from found objects, involves music, history, science, geography, ecology, and recycling. "Music Around the World" is a tour of five cultures (Latin America, Africa, India, China, USA) using authentic instruments. "A TransAtlantic Experience" engages participants in song and instrument play representing interconnected cultural traditions of Africa, Cuba, and Brazil.

Requirements: Flexible.

Audience: All ages

Fees: $800 and up. Instrument-making projects: $5 - $190 per student.
