Sally Rogers, Connecticut State Troubadour, 1997
Program: Sally performs traditional and original folk songs and stories on guitar, banjo, and mountain dulcimer. She works with students to write songs based on oral histories. Residencies and teacher workshops integrate music, movement, poetry, and theater skills into the curriculum. Topics include: Connecticut history, sharing and caring for the earth, women through history, books that are songs and songs that are books, civil rights, and multi-cultural issues. Requirements: Open space, flip chart, and markers.

Fees: Residencies: $500 per day and up; Workshops: $500 and up.
