Thomas MezzanotteProgram: Thomas provides hands-on photographic one-day to two-week residencies covering many themes outlined in Connecticut’s core curriculum framework. Relating photography to art, science, and history, Thomas turns a classroom into a giant camera obscura and demonstrates the optical principles underpinning photography. Students build their own pinhole cameras using simple materials, then load, shoot, and develop an image resulting in unique works of art. Master classes and workshops in pinhole and historical processes are available for universities and professional development.
Audience: School age and Adults/Seniors
Fees: $400 per day and up.
