Program:
The Connecticut Interdenominational Mass Choir performs traditional and contemporary gospel selections. Their music is an expression of bold and smooth sounds, which draw from Black Gospel music entwined with elements of jazz, rock, and rhythm and blues. The choir’s performances are similar to the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, the Mississippi Mass Choir, and Hezekiah Walker’s choir. Residency/workshops include lectures, demonstrations, and master classes that teach Black Gospel musical selections. Workshops culminate in a public concert featuring singers and participants.

Requirements: 16’ x 32’ stage, an organ, and drums.

Audience: All ages

Fees: Full choir: $2,000 - $3,000; Residencies: $3,000 - $4,000.
