Program: Elite Syncopation is a quintet that focuses on rare and popular repertoire from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Performances feature original arrangements by composers like Scott Joplin, Jelly Roll Morton, W.C. Handy, Louis Moreau Gottschalk, Irving Berlin, and Duke Ellington. The groupís instrumentation, typical of an early 20th century New York cabaret ensemble, is woodwind, violin, cello, bass, and piano. The quintet collaborates with dancers and offers lecture-concerts, library programs, school performances, and workshops.

Requirements: 125 square-foot performance space. The group can provide an electronic piano. Projector, sound reinforcement, dance floor may be needed.

Audience: All ages

Fees: $1,250 - $4,500.
