Program:
Liz tells world folktales and contemporary stories to diverse audiences of all ages.   She particularly enjoys re-introducing the love of story to adult audiences.   In schools, she works with teachers to integrate her stories and activities with curriculum, always expanding vocabulary, listening skills and imaginations.    Among the residencies Liz offers is the Kamishibai (Japanese for paper theater) storytelling style.   Workshops include students illustrating and telling stories, either their own or versions of traditional tales, thus developing all aspects of literacy: reading, writing, listening and speaking.  Liz is also a certified book discussion facilitator for youth and parents.

Requirements: A chair or tall stool, sound/microphone for large audiences

Audience: School age, Adults/Seniors

Fees: Schools/libraries $300 and up, workshops and residencies negotiable
