Moderator: Hal Tweedy, artist, certified coach and marketing professional

Hal Tweedy is a Certified Professional Coach with over 35 years experience as a Creativity Coach, Business Coach, and a Life Coach. He has coached artists, individuals seeking a career change, and many small business owners.  He has lectured on a variety of topics ranging from "Finding Inspiration Within" to "Gonzo Marketing on a Budget."  Tweedy ran a successful advertising/marketing/public relations agency (www.tweedyco.com). A member of the International Coach Federation, he is both a watercolor painter and sculptor, and is known for his organic style and inspirational, out-of-the-box thinking. Panelist: Sarah Haskel, artist, educator and community builder

Sarah Haskell is an award winning artist/educator who has been weaving and teaching for over thirty years. Since graduation from Rhode Island School of Design, she has traveled as far away as Japan to learn about and teach weaving. Haskell balances her work as an arts educator with her career as a studio artist. She is on the faculty at the New Hampshire Institute of Art, Manchester, NH, and a member of the artist rosters of the Maine and New Hampshire Arts Commissions and Young Audiences of Massachusetts and Connecticut. Panelist: Karen Rossi, artist and entrepreneur

Karen Rossi of Rossi Studios is an artist/designer. She is highly regarded for her metal sculptures and whimsical characters known as Fanciful Flights™. After years of attending trade shows and marketing her original works, she licensed her artwork to several manufacturing companies, eventually signing a contract with Silvestri®. Within two years of the initial January 2000 release of 12 three-dimensional metal characters for that company, retail annual sales of her Fanciful Flights™ topped $30 million. Rossi is currently licensing her characters to a variety of firms who produce and market cards, dolls, stationery items, decorative products, garden statuary and accessories. Panelist: Allen Wittert, artist and corporate ideas illustrator

Allen Wittert is a contemporary painter and illustrator. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, he spent six years in London illustrating for a living before settling in Fairfield, CT in 2000. Wittert has been painting professionally for nine years and illustrating professionally since age fifteen. His clients include Kaplan Thaler, Grey Phillips, McCann Ericksson, Saatchi, and BBDO, and the London agencies Griffin BAcall, Ogilvy Mather and JWT.
