The Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism organized and hosted Kennedy Center President Michael M. Kaiser's Arts in Crisis symposia on June 10, 2010. As part of his 50-state national tour, Mr. Kaiser offered tips and proven strategies that will allow non-profit groups to survive and even thrive in the current economy. Over 250 arts managers and board members from across Connecticut participated in the community conversations moderated by TV journalist Diane Smith.
