Kate Callahan, co-producer of five albums of original music is an accomplished, award-winning singer-songwriter, most notably a top 5 nominee for Best Songwriter in New England and winner of Best Songwriter in Connecticut.

Kate was selected as Connecticut’s 2016-2018 State Troubadour because of her captivating voice, strong musicianship, compelling personal story and love of and commitment to Connecticut.  The Boston Globe says, "Kate Callahan has garnered an appreciative audience with her easygoing vibe and inspirational, at times mystical lyrics." Kate tours, gives concerts and workshops throughout the United States, performs her original music and puts her personal spin on old time favorites at local and national venues including concerts and folks festivals. 

Kate Callahan, the recipient of CT Music Awards “Best Singer-Songwriter " in 2013 has appeared on WNPR shows such as “Colin McEnroe” & “Where We Live.”  Her list of accolades and accomplishments include front page features in the Hartford Courant’s Living, Towns, and Lifestyle sections since 2003.  She was named “Woman of Character” by Hartford Courant in 2005, and selected as Hartford Advocate’s “Best Solo Performer” 2002-04. Her national and regional tours include opening act performances with folk legends Judy Collins, Noel Paul Stookey (Peter, Paul & Mary), and troubadours Aztec Two-Step, Mustard's Retreat, John Gorka and the late Bill Morrissey.
